Why was I asked to reset my password?

From time to time, we reset passwords to help keep accounts as safe as possible, so you may be asked to choose a new one. Updating your password will also update it across MSE and clubs.

If you're being told that your new password isn't strong enough, it may not meet our security requirements or could have appeared in lists of known compromised passwords.
