It’s worth remembering that not all lenders share information with Experian, so not all your credit accounts will necessarily appear on your Experian Credit Report.
However, if there’s an account that was on your report last time you checked, that isn’t there now, it’s worth checking:
Have you recently closed the account? If so, it’s likely to be in the ‘Closed Accounts’ tab (your Experian Credit Report in Credit Club defaults to show you 'Open Accounts' when you click to view ‘Credit Accounts’.
Is the account now in default? It may now appear on the ‘Defaulted Accounts’ tab within ‘Credit Accounts’ on your report.
If neither of these explains it, then you can use the ‘Need some help?’ button on any account within your report. Click it (from any listed account) then select ‘There are things missing from my report’ from the dropdown menu. You’ll get some information with other reasons why you may not see all your accounts. If none of this applies, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom under ‘Still need help?’
You’ll see another dropdown menu asking you to choose an option. Choose ‘There are things missing from my report’. Scroll down past the information that appears, and you’ll get a box in which you can tell Experian about the information you’re querying. Click ‘Send’ and then Experian will investigate the missing information for you.
