I'm new to the MSE forum, where do I start?

If you're new to our forum, we've created a guide just for you.

Once you've joined and logged in, from the forum front page click on the relevant board for your question. So for example, if you're looking for advice about debt, go to the Debt Free Wannabe board.

Please search the forum first to see if your question's already been asked. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, then post your query.

How this site works

We think it's important you understand the strengths and limitations of the site. We're a journalistic website and aim to provide the best MoneySaving guides, tips, tools and techniques, but can't guarantee to be perfect, so do note you use the information at your own risk and we can't accept liability if things go wrong.
