Good news! We’ve now relaunched Cheap Energy Club. We shut it down when the energy market crisis hit, as there was no way to save by switching. But now, there are finally signs of competition returning in the market.
However, do be aware that we’ve relaunched the tool at speed, and we’ve made some big changes. That means, for now, it’s not optimised for every situation, but we hope to improve it in the coming weeks. Some of the changes you might notice include:
You can only do a standard full market comparison – if you used our ‘Pick Me A Tariff’ services that were available before the energy crisis, these will no longer be available.
We’re currently not monitoring tariffs – that’s where we used to send you an alert when we thought you could save by switching. We don’t think the market’s right for that service to return just yet.
As most are on a Price Cap standard tariff now, we’ve worked hard to add in more info on what you need to consider when switching, as the Price Cap changes every three months.
