Why’ve you changed the way I log in to Cheap Energy Club?

Updated over a month ago

We’ve made Cheap Energy Club part of the MSE Account. This essentially means you’ll have one email address and one password that will work across the main MSE site, our app, Energy Club and Credit Club (though, of course, there’s no pressure on you as an Energy Club member to use any of the others).

What it does mean is that it’s slightly changed how you’ll log in to Energy Club the next time you visit. Here’s what you need to know:

Already an Energy Club member, but don't have an MSE site / app/ Credit Club account?

If it's the first time you've logged in to Energy Club since March 2025, we'll need you to reset your password, so we can link your email address and password to an MSE Account

As part of this, we’re making your account more secure, so we’ll email you a verification code to validate your email address. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to log in to Energy Club as normal. When you do, we’ll ask you to reconfirm your address and tariff details (again, we’ll only ask you to do this once, though – as ever – you’re free to edit them any time if they change).

Already have an MSE site / app / Credit Club account?

You now need to use your MSE Account password to log in to Cheap Energy Club (if both have the same email address). When you log in, we’ll ask you to reconfirm your address and tariff details (we’ll only do this once, though – as ever – you’re free to edit them any time if they change).

If you use different email addresses for Energy Club and your MSE Account, you’ll need to follow the “don’t have an MSE Account” instructions above. If you do want to combine accounts, you can log in to Energy Club with your MSE Account details (the ones you use for Credit Club and/or the app), then add your address and tariff details as if you were a new user.
